Responsibilities
- Improve and evangelize the Secure Software Development Lifecycle for more than 4,000 software engineers globally.
- Provide security expertise and mentoring to software development teams, software architects, and DevOps teams.
- Locate, analyze, and help prevent application vulnerabilities through early development-stage security practices.
- Design and mentor teams on threat modeling and application security controls.
- Integrate security checks into CI-CD pipelines for cloud applications.
- Use application security testing, vulnerability scanning, exploit analysis, and detection tools, including AI-based scanning capabilities.
- Secure and harden virtualized, containerized, and software supply-chain environments.
- Research cybersecurity trends and communicate security guidance clearly through written and verbal presentations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in web application security and vulnerability analysis.
- Strong knowledge of web, cloud-based, AI-agentic, and database application security, including JavaScript, Single Page Apps, OAuth, and microservice-based environments.
- Knowledge of application vulnerability types, exploit techniques, mitigation approaches, sophisticated hacking techniques, vulnerability scanning, and application security testing tools.
- Experience with threat modeling, CI-CD security integration, virtualized and containerized environment hardening, and software supply-chain security.
- Degree or commensurate experience in computer science, computer engineering, information security, or a related discipline.
- CISSP and/or CEH certification.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, research, writing, presentation, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the agile software development lifecycle and commitment to quality.
