Responsibilities
- Ship product features and improvements with minimal guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams on new features.
- Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements.
- Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
- Write maintainable frontend code that meets internal style and engineering standards for a high-scale web environment.
- Maintain engineering standards through code review.
- Identify team inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Own projects from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of relevant professional experience building web applications with JavaScript frameworks such as Ember.js or React.js.
- Have sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Communicate complex technical, architectural, and organizational problems clearly and concisely.
- Be comfortable working in a highly iterative software development process.
- Demonstrate the ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term.
- Have a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Be self-motivated and self-managing with strong organizational skills.
