Responsibilities
- Conduct robot simulation using RobotStudio HyperRealism.
- Develop complex AI and simulation systems for industrial deployment at scale.
- Balance simulation fidelity with computational complexity and contribute to closing the sim-to-real gap.
- Reduce dependence on physical prototypes and help integrate simulation throughout the design, development, and deployment process.
- Generate photorealistic synthetic datasets in 2D, 3D, and video sequences for AI and robotics applications.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD or master’s degree program in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or a related field in the United States.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, and full-cell robotics simulation.
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, BlenderProc, or other simulation software.
- Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse.
- ABB RobotStudio experience is a plus.
- Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.
