Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, decision surfaces, self-service capabilities, and automated workflows aligned to J7 mission workflows.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, access controls, integrations, and data foundations on MSS and the Palantir stack.
- Ensure AI/AIP workflows have well-modeled data and surface model outputs in operationally useful ways.
- Create visualizations, interactive analytical tools, alerting systems, monitoring systems, KPIs, and success metrics for mission decision-making.
- Develop efficient data models, optimize queries, implement caching and aggregation, and build scalable MSS solutions for growing data volumes and users.
- Provide day-to-day operator support, document data sources and analytical methodologies, and escalate complex platform issues when appropriate.
- Contribute reusable ontology patterns, dashboard templates, integration recipes, and validation support for extending the model to additional commands.
- Stay current with MSS and Palantir technologies and advocate for improved mission-analytics tools and approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or extensive Palantir experience as a substitute.
- At least 4 years of software or data engineering experience, with data analysis or data science experience considered.
- At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards, applications, or pipelines for operational end users.
- Working proficiency in ontology design and pipeline authoring using PySpark, Code Repositories, or Pipeline Builder.
- Active U.S. government security clearance, with at least an active Secret clearance required; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain higher clearances such as TS/SCI when required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include prior Palantir FDE/FDSE or comparable customer-embedded experience, MSS experience, AIP-agent or large-language-model workflow exposure, familiarity with DoD data environments and classified networks, prior Combatant Command support, and Python, SQL, JavaScript, or TypeScript skills.
