Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions and system or application components.
- Design and implement data pipelines and workflows within large-scale data environments.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of data analytics solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team-level decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems affecting multiple teams and contribute to key cross-team decisions.
- Coordinate project activities to support timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and improve software development processes and product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with Unity Catalog.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows in large-scale data environments.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and data processing frameworks.
- Ability to optimize data analytics solution performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration techniques.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Data Governance, Alation Data Catalog, and Collibra Data Governance are preferred.
