Base Salary
$100k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, deploy, and scale applications and services on Kubernetes clusters.
- Maintain Helm charts, manage services, and optimize Kubernetes resource allocation and cluster performance.
- Design and maintain Docker-based microservices deployments across staging, QA, and production environments.
- Configure and manage AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Set up monitoring and alerts and manage incident response for Jenkins and Kubernetes cluster issues.
- Build infrastructure automation for scaling, monitoring, and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, Linux, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with development, services, and operations teams on application deployment and infrastructure integration.
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements, including role-based access, encryption, and automated vulnerability scanning.
Requirements
- An active Top Secret clearance or higher is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- At least two years of experience working with on-premise and off-premise cloud environments is required.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure and hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
- Programming ability in one or more high-level languages, including Python, Java, C, C++, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Experience with distributed storage technologies such as NFS, HDFS, Ceph, and Amazon S3 and resource management frameworks such as Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, and Yarn.
- Desired qualifications include experience operating IaaS and PaaS applications on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Services.
- Experience with deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning is desired.
- Ability to work independently, manage concurrent projects, communicate technical concepts, and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment.
