Responsibilities
- Design software that enables application developers to use hardware accelerators seamlessly and efficiently.
- Implement and validate firmware and Linux drivers for optimal power consumption and performance.
- Design, develop, and test embedded software drivers for next-generation smart devices.
- Work across hardware and software in a vertically integrated silicon engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing, testing, and deploying consumer electronics or embedded systems.
- At least 1 year of experience with embedded programming in C.
- Experience with embedded systems, kernels, Linux, real-time operating systems, firmware, or device drivers.
- Preferred master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred foundation or experience in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering with embedded-domain, data structures and algorithms, and software design competencies.
- Preferred experience collaborating with hardware designers and reading schematics.
- Preferred experience with ARM or other low-power SoC architectures, memory systems, fabric, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
- Preferred experience with USB, SPI, I2C, UART, UFS, or PCIe interface protocols, as well as power management, system integration, software stacks, and drivers.
