Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents and automations across Oracle, Microsoft, and other platforms.
- Partner with business-aligned delivery teams to identify agentic automation opportunities and convert requirements into working solutions.
- Connect agents to enterprise systems and data using REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, and platform connectors.
- Provide production support escalation, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes with guidance from senior engineers.
- Write and refine prompts, agent instructions, and tool definitions, and use testing and evaluations to improve agent reliability.
- Monitor agent performance, usage, and business value and recommend improvements.
- Follow responsible AI, security, and governance standards, including human approvals, auditability, and data protection.
- Document solutions, support procedures, and reusable patterns; participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in software development, automation, agentic development, or an IT-related position; internships, co-ops, and substantial academic or personal projects count.
- Working knowledge of Oracle technologies such as Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Foundational knowledge of generative AI and agentic concepts, including large language models, prompt design, retrieval and grounding, and tool or function calling.
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, SQL, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0.
- Familiarity with agent interoperability standards such as Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with comfort working directly with business partners.
- Oracle or Microsoft AI certifications are preferred.
