Responsibilities
- Articulate and evangelize a technical vision for the assigned domain.
- Decompose complex problems into practical and operational solutions.
- Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation.
- Provide authoritative expertise on performance, scalability, operability, and other non-functional system characteristics.
- Inject advanced technical knowledge into the engineering community.
- Balance multiple projects to maximize organizational impact.
- Mentor and coach engineers and product professionals while strengthening technical expertise.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
- Influence engineering teams and organizational technology direction through technical contribution.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software engineering or software development experience.
- At least 7 years of public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- 12+ years of professional coding experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin preferred.
- 8+ years of full-lifecycle system development experience, from conception through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support preferred.
- 6+ years of experience with private cloud technologies preferred.
- 8+ years of networking experience, including BGP, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and data center networking preferred.
