Responsibilities

Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
Promote the advantages of Pure Storage solutions to customers.
Refine sales strategies and take command of technical responsibilities.
Provide technical leadership and expertise on storage products and architectures.
Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system installations hands-on.
Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers.
Translate customer business needs into innovative solutions.
Author responses to RFI and RFP documents.
Identify new opportunities for testing and validation.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create supporting materials.
Stay updated on competition and market trends.

Pre-sales experience is required.
5-10 years of experience in enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions.
Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
Experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
Ability to lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures.
Familiarity with UNIX OS and NFS file systems.
Experience with distributed computing and storage subsystems architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and provisioning automation.
Knowledge of VMWare and general networking principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Familiarity with modern web architecture is a plus.
Application knowledge is highly desirable.
Experience in channel partner/customer training is beneficial.
