Responsibilities
- Write production-grade C++ for embedded Linux systems that monitor and control tunneling and mining equipment.
- Integrate sensors, power electronics, and control systems with real hardware.
- Design safety-critical software for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments.
- Develop and execute embedded-system verification and validation test suites.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to develop complex machines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional experience developing software with C/C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
- Preferred: experience with embedded software for industrial automation, mechatronic systems, or automotive systems.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python, modern C++, Git, and Linux-based operating systems.
- Preferred: experience with sensor integration and DAQ optimization.
- Preferred: strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, attention to detail, and system-level thinking.
