Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle from Jira Server/Data Center to Cloud.
- Evaluate, merge, and clean up multiple Jira instances into a unified Cloud environment.
- Design and map custom workflows, permission schemes, and issue types.
- Ensure data integrity using Jira REST API, SQL, or JSON.
- Replace legacy automations with 'Automation for Jira' and streamline tasks using ScriptRunner or Python.
- Build comprehensive Migration Runbooks and define rollback procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with large-scale Jira Cloud migrations.
- Deep knowledge of Jira architecture, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management.
- Solid experience working within Agile frameworks in enterprise environments.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical migration roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Groovy, Python, or Bash for custom data manipulation.
