Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned accounts and account managers
- Understand customer goals and articulate how Elastic offerings address their needs
- Build and own value-based relationships across customer organizations
- Participate in territory planning and execution from discovery through the technical win
- Develop product expertise and demonstrate Elastic solutions in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences
- Advise sales teams on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services
- Onboard, educate, and enable partners while supporting them in sales cycles
- Create collateral and contribute to programs addressing individual client needs
- Represent customer and community needs to engineering and leadership teams
Requirements
- Successful track record in a technical presales role within the public sector
- Experience selling and implementing technology and earning customer trust
- Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies
- History of successful customer relationships and designing architectures to meet goals and solve problems
- Ability to influence stakeholders and inspire both large and small groups
- Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally
- Curiosity, continuous-learning mindset, and strong technical and sales development orientation
