Responsibilities

  • Test and verify modeling and simulation applications used for warfighter training and exercises.
  • Test new capabilities, document new features, and analyze simulation performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Analyze performance metrics and support requirements verification and validation at system and software levels.
  • Integrate automated tests into delivery processes and work with testing and DevOps tools as applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related work experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0–2 years of related work experience.
  • Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at the time of application and to start.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices and understanding of software development and Linux.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reports, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Preferred qualifications include systems engineering V-lifecycle experience, API testing, SQL database experience, DevOps knowledge, automated testing, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
  • Preferred domain knowledge includes missile defense, command and control, and modeling and simulation development.
