Responsibilities
- Test and verify modeling and simulation applications used for warfighter training and exercises.
- Test new capabilities, document new features, and analyze simulation performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Analyze performance metrics and support requirements verification and validation at system and software levels.
- Integrate automated tests into delivery processes and work with testing and DevOps tools as applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related work experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0–2 years of related work experience.
- Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at the time of application and to start.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices and understanding of software development and Linux.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reports, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Preferred qualifications include systems engineering V-lifecycle experience, API testing, SQL database experience, DevOps knowledge, automated testing, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Preferred domain knowledge includes missile defense, command and control, and modeling and simulation development.
