Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop software aligned with system and subsystem requirements.
- Develop new Trip Optimizer® functionality and maintain and expand existing product functions.
- Collaborate with design, systems engineering, validation, and broader business-unit teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis, investigate issues, and implement defect fixes.
- Create software design, requirements, process, and architecture documentation.
- Participate in software architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Execute and enhance the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain automated unit tests for new designs.
- Investigate and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of C/C++ software development experience.
- Proficiency in software design, methods, and architecture approaches.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles.
- Preferred experience with Agile or Tollgate Software Development.
- Preferred experience with embedded real-time operating systems, including QNX Neutrino and Yocto.
- Preferred experience with GitLab, x86 or PowerPC microprocessors, Coverity, VectorCAST or Google Test, cybersecurity engineering, and IBM ELM Tool Suite.
