Base Salary
$200k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and drive the architecture for Together's Customer Insights platform.
- Build and operate the shared event and historical analytics visibility layer.
- Write and maintain critical-path backend and product code.
- Partner with Data Platform and Observability engineering teams.
- Create customer workflows for operational investigations.
- Establish standards for events and governance signals.
- Define measures for reliability and correctness of visibility systems.
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing platforms for multiple engineering teams.
- Strong backend engineering skills in languages like TypeScript, Go, or Python.
- Deep experience with event-driven systems and analytics platforms.
- Strong data modeling and systems design judgment.
- Ability to translate ambiguous needs into clear technical architecture.
- Experience collaborating across product and engineering teams.
- Comfort writing production code and mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
