Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and systems implementation.
- Analyze, design, construct, test, implement, monitor, and support application systems.
- Write, test, and implement SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures and functions.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and help define operating standards and procedures.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and provide user and operational support.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, FORTE, Perl scripting, Informatica, and related functional knowledge.
- Extensive experience writing, testing, and implementing SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures and functions.
- Strong technical knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Industrial certification in Oracle SQL.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
