Base Salary

$75k - $156k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop web application features and fix bugs using React, TypeScript, and a server-side language such as Node.js or Python.
  • Write unit and integration tests and follow test-driven development practices.
  • Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
  • Gradually take ownership of small software components or services.
  • Support deployment pipelines and monitor production health through logs and alerts.
  • Independently execute assignments, design algorithms, analyze performance, prepare technical documentation, and communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks, propose solutions, and adapt applications or processes based on quantitative results.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience or 3+ years of strong personal or project experience.
  • Ability to obtain an Active Secret clearance; an existing Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and a server-side language such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools such as Jira or GitLab.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Docker and docker-compose experience, cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and knowledge of RESTful APIs and OAuth.
  • Master's degree, open-source contributions, hackathon projects, or a technical blog are preferred.
