Base Salary
$75k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features and fix bugs using React, TypeScript, and a backend language such as Node.js or Python.
- Write unit and integration tests and follow test-driven development practices.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, peer code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Gradually take ownership of small components or services while supporting deployment pipelines and monitoring production logs and alerts.
- Independently execute assigned tasks, design and analyze algorithms, develop software tests, and prepare technical documentation.
- Communicate with customers, stakeholders, program leadership, and multidisciplinary teams about requirements, designs, deliverables, risks, and solutions.
- Identify technical risks, propose solutions to complex problems, and recommend process or application improvements based on quantitative results.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience or 3+ years of strong personal or project experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and a server-side language such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance; an existing Secret clearance is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools such as Jira or GitLab.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, docker-compose, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and OAuth-based authentication is preferred.
- Open-source contributions, hackathon projects, or a technical blog are valued.
