Base Salary

$124k - $222k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for the Kubernetes platform, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
  • Build and maintain core platform components for high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
  • Troubleshoot platform-related issues and support peer development teams in resolving problems.
  • Implement platform security practices and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
  • Create and maintain documentation and participate in team knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with engineers and development teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Keep current with technologies and trends in platform engineering.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports U.S. federal government contracts.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development engineering for the mid-level track, or 6+ years for the senior track.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and consuming CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo CD.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, including C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and production experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks and with air-gapped cloud regions.
  • Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, including a current Computing Environment credential and one approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
