Base Salary
$238k - $302k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and launch machine learning models that automatically generate maps from raw data.
- Work with onboard teams to evolve Waymo’s mapping format for better automation.
- Apply statistical analysis to validate large-scale changes.
- Build backend infrastructure for storing and processing various forms of map data.
Requirements
- Experienced technical leader with at least 7 years of total experience.
- Experience with statistical analysis.
- Experience with large-scale data processing using frameworks like Google Data Flow or Apache Beam.
- Proven track record of leading a team to solve difficult technical challenges.
- Willingness to own problems end-to-end and work on various parts of the system.
- A passion for good software engineering.
