Responsibilities
- Build software platforms and tooling for large-scale quantitative research and portfolio production.
- Write, test, and deploy production-quality C++ code on Linux.
- Develop large-scale distributed systems and high-performance applications.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, and concurrency patterns to solve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with researchers and portfolio managers on firmwide platforms.
- Independently own technical challenges with minimal direction.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience writing production-quality C++ code on Linux.
- Development experience with Python.
- Strong understanding of Linux system programming fundamentals.
- Ability to develop large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction, and proficient in English.
- Experience with large-scale graph-data computation or streaming/dataflow systems is preferred.
- Prior financial-services experience is not required.
