Base Salary
$46k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems.
- Collaborate as an Agile product team member with software developers, stakeholders, and end users to deliver releasable software in short sprint cycles.
- Contribute to testing, documentation, training content, release and sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, deployments, and production support.
- Improve supported products and participate in regression testing, operations, and maintenance of deployed software.
- Analyze project-related problems and develop solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Help ensure product quality and timely delivery while resolving issues and providing performance reports.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a CBP background investigation, including checks related to felony convictions, illegal drug use, and misconduct such as theft or fraud.
- Must be pursuing a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
- Must demonstrate familiarity with or the ability to learn PostgreSQL, Java Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Must demonstrate familiarity with or the ability to learn TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Preferred experience includes Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate or another ORM, JAX-RS, XML, JSON, web services, Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, shell scripting, C, C++, and Python.
- Preferred experience includes SQL or PL/SQL and Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Spring, VMware, ETL tools, ESB message queuing, application security, automated testing, UML, VersionOne, Jira, or Sparx Enterprise Architect is highly desirable.
- Experience building, using, or integrating with a SecDevOps CI/CD pipeline is preferred.
