Responsibilities

Ensure smooth production operations with application development teams and lead large-scale event response.
Define operational and security policies, standards, and processes for development teams.
Guide teams in establishing, monitoring, and achieving service-level agreements through service-level indicators and objectives.
Work in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments to implement monitoring, security, reliability, automation, and support.
Develop automation and assist with debugging and fixing complex production issues.
Participate in the on-call rotation and coordinate and lead production troubleshooting efforts.
Document and share knowledge through presentations and guidance to teams across the organization.

Customer-focused, data-driven software developer with an interest in production reliability and proactive issue resolution.
Understanding of cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure as code, networking, microservice architectures, object-oriented design, and SRE and DevOps cultures.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and willingness to learn additional programming languages.
Knowledge of software engineering lifecycle practices including coding standards, code reviews, security, source control management, build processes, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, chaos engineering, and automated self-healing operations.
Knowledge of CloudFormation, Terraform, New Relic, Lambda, Serverless, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, Flink, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, and Jira.
Ability to lead production incident response and postmortems with strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
