Responsibilities
- Define software architecture and assess complexity and implementation risks for advanced visualization products.
- Translate wireframes and functional requirements into reusable, high-performance UI components.
- Collaborate with design, product management, and engineering teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces.
- Suggest improvements to user interfaces, software architecture, and technology choices.
- Optimize web applications for speed and scale across desktop and mobile devices.
- Coach and teach others while promoting teamwork and high ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience developing responsive, efficient, cross-browser front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks and UI libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, and D3.js.
- Hands-on experience with mapping APIs including Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.
- Familiarity with UX processes and design.
- Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale projects with understanding of Agile SDLC, collaboration, and leadership.
- Strong written and oral communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
