Responsibilities

Define software architecture and assess complexity and implementation risks for advanced visualization products.
Translate wireframes and functional requirements into reusable, high-performance UI components.
Collaborate with design, product management, and engineering teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces.
Suggest improvements to user interfaces, software architecture, and technology choices.
Optimize web applications for speed and scale across desktop and mobile devices.
Coach and teach others while promoting teamwork and high ethical standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of experience developing responsive, efficient, cross-browser front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks and UI libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, and D3.js.
Hands-on experience with mapping APIs including Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.
Familiarity with UX processes and design.
Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale projects with understanding of Agile SDLC, collaboration, and leadership.
Strong written and oral communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
