Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for household appliances.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, and testing.
- Develop and execute unit and functional tests.
- Conduct code, design, and solution reviews.
- Provide technical proposals and project estimates.
- Collaborate with customers, international partners, engineering teams, and domain experts to define requirements and architecture.
- Perform embedded Linux BSP customization, board bring-up, driver integration, and low-level debugging.
- Share knowledge and build team competencies.
Requirements
- B.E./B-Tech or M.E./M-Tech with Electronics or Computer Science as a core subject, with BE/ME Electronics background specified in the qualifications.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto Project, Linux BSP modification, board bring-up, device trees, Linux drivers, U-Boot, display and touch subsystems, and MCU embedded C programming.
- Experience with MCU firmware development, Zephyr, FreeRTOS, UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB, LVGL, and Qt.
- Hands-on debugging experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, UART logs, JTAG/SWD debuggers, and kernel debugging.
- Experience debugging BSP and board bring-up issues, communication failures, timing issues, power-related problems, and drivers.
- Preferred experience with ARM-based SoCs or Cortex-M MCUs from NXP, TI, Renesas, or ST.
- Knowledge of boot sequences, memory layouts, kernel and boot logs, low-level debugging, and embedded-system power optimization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with internal and external customers.
