Base Salary
$151k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a Linux agent daemon with GPU discovery, availability detection, and sandboxed container execution for ML inference workloads.
- Architect local caching with eviction policies, versioned manifests, disk-budget management, and efficient updates for large model files.
- Build VRAM management and graceful workload migration logic.
- Integrate hardware attestation and support heterogeneous hardware configurations and fleet onboarding automation.
- Develop reliable, scalable, performant software and infrastructure that operates unattended on compute nodes.
Requirements
- At least six years of programming experience with a modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- At least six years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least six years of experience designing or architecting reliable and scalable systems.
- At least six years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.
- At least seven years of systems programming experience with Rust, Go, or C++.
- Deep knowledge of Linux internals, including process scheduling, memory management, and storage subsystems.
- Hands-on experience with container runtimes such as Docker or custom sandboxes.
- Experience with GPU tooling and management, including nvidia-smi, NVML, and the CUDA runtime.
- Demonstrated ability to build software that runs reliably on heterogeneous hardware.
- Preferred experience with full software, hardware, and network development lifecycles, complex infrastructure delivery, constrained-storage caching systems, edge computing, fleet management, embedded systems, hardware attestation, storage performance optimization, or unattended daemon and agent software.
