Base Salary
$128k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain machine control software applications using Java.
- Collaborate with systems and application engineers to integrate equipment software solutions.
- Implement and manage microservice architectures for scalable and efficient software.
- Analyze requirements, define functional specifications, develop solutions, test software, and provide support for internal and external customers.
- Communicate development status and timeline delays proactively.
- Diagnose software issues and apply algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques to resolve complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience with microservice architecture and related technologies.
- Ability to translate system requirements into software designs in collaboration with application and systems teams.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented technology, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong software diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the semiconductor, healthcare, or medical equipment industries is preferred.
