Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop automated tests for embedded system firmware.
- Perform unit, module, integration, external functional, and regression testing.
- Develop test software, automation scripts, test frameworks, and unattended testing pipelines.
- Test MCU-based embedded systems using software and hardware tools including JTAG, in-circuit emulators, scopes, and logic or bus analyzers.
- Evaluate coverage, locate errors, diagnose issues, and optimize code to ensure firmware reliability and stability.
- Verify firmware and software compliance with requirements and standards such as MISRA C/C++, ISO 26262, and IEC 61508.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Three or more years of automated testing or development experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, or another programming language is preferred.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools is preferred.
- Ability to independently build test frameworks and write automated scripts.
- Good oral and written English communication and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
