Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance Android applications using Kotlin.
- Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions with a focus on performance.
- Build responsive user interfaces aligned with modern Android design principles.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services and distributed systems.
- Implement data synchronization, offline support, network resilience, and secure data handling.
- Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
- Maintain code quality, testing, documentation, and debugging standards.
- Own the mobile lifecycle from development through Play Store deployment.
- Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and influence engineering standards and technical direction.
- Drive Android architecture, CI/CD, and mobile release best practices.
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Android Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Deep understanding of Android performance optimization and lifecycle management.
- Strong experience with asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience with data persistence using Room and SQLite, plus caching strategies.
- Experience with testing frameworks and debugging tools.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction.
- Preferred: experience with Jetpack Compose, CI/CD pipelines, mobile release processes, mobile security, distributed systems or cloud platforms, deep-tech or performance-critical environments, and observability or mobile analytics tools.
- Fluent English required.
