Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop DevOps pipelines for Linux-based medical device software.
- Support and optimize software builds using Jenkins, CMake, Yocto, and on-premises or cloud infrastructure.
- Build, improve, document, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, artifacts, and software quality tools.
- Measure build performance and efficiency and develop dashboards for build and quality metrics.
- Create and maintain release branches, build artifacts, software documentation, software bills of materials, and release-transfer materials.
- Perform tool validations and support formal software releases and transfer of artifacts to manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot DevOps issues across hardware and software and identify root causes and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams and independently support development and operations activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 6 years, a PhD with 3 years, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Linux, CMake and/or Yocto, Jenkins or other CI/CD deployment tools, and cloud-based software build infrastructure and artifact management.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and standard programming concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with C++ is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and professional materials and write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent tools.
- Strong communication, independent-work, problem-solving, collaboration, and judgment skills.
