
Senior Shared Tech QA Analyst

Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing of shared engine systems, tools, pipelines, and cross-project features across multiple teams and platforms.
- Design, execute, and maintain reusable test cases, test suites, test plans, and test strategies for long-term shared-technology use.
- Perform integration, regression, performance, stress, stability, and cross-platform verification, including PC and major consoles.
- Collaborate with developers, tools programmers, technical artists, downstream project teams, and external partners to identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Analyze test results and systemic root causes, and provide insights to improve robustness, performance, and adoption of shared technologies.
- Coordinate QA planning, prioritization, timelines, risk management, and quality strategy across projects.
- Create quality reports and dashboards using data and analytics tools to identify cross-project trends.
- Maintain technical documentation covering test coverage, known limitations, QA guidelines, and best practices.
- Mentor and support other QA team members through knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Tech QA Analyst or in a similar senior technical QA role.
- Hands-on experience supporting at least one shipped AA/AAA game title.
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies for complex systems, including integration, regression, performance, stress, and long-term stability testing.
- Strong experience validating technologies built on or integrated with Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDengine, or REDkit.
- Familiarity with build-system workflows, RoboMerge, and Perforce.
- Knowledge of content and asset creation pipelines and the ability to identify systemic pipeline risks.
- Experience testing across PC and major console platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo.
- Experience designing and owning test strategies for technologies used by multiple products and teams.
- Experience with QA tools, automation frameworks, and diagnostic solutions.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, test plans, quality guidelines, and test reports.
- Strong analytical, systems-thinking, communication, collaboration, and risk-management skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Passion for games and game development.
- Knowledge of narrative and localization tools and pipelines is a nice-to-have.
