Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, test, debug, and maintain embedded aircraft software across the software development lifecycle.
- Solve complex technical system and software integration problems while collaborating with software engineers, systems engineers, and end users.
- Support software requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance for military and commercial programs.
- Provide technical leadership through mentorship, technical assistance, design and process reviews, proposal participation, and process improvement.
- Apply software optimization, timing analysis, debugging, configuration management, and integration techniques to deliver reliable software products.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with software requirements, design, development, integration, and testing.
- Experience developing and testing software with C++, C#, Ada, Python, or closely related languages in a Windows environment.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, software systems design, integration, and management.
- Experience with Git, DevOps and DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, software debugging tools, and software development methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes embedded high-criticality RTOS platforms, safety-critical programs, MIL-STD-882E, DO-178, DO-254, DO-330, DO-331, and DO-332.
- Preferred experience includes Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, TCP/IP, UDP, serial, USB, PCI, DDS, TSS, ZeroMQ/NetMQ, OpenGL, VAPS XT, GL Studio, SCADE, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
- Preferred qualifications include computer architecture, hardware optimization, parallel programming, requirements development, software configuration management, Agile development, and strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
