Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable operation of business-critical software solutions, particularly across the sales-process value chain.
- Identify faults, outages, and performance bottlenecks early and independently develop sustainable solutions.
- Develop tools, systems, and automations that improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency, and transparency.
- Maintain and further develop software systems in an SRE context, including operational stability and feature enhancements.
- Implement and optimize monitoring for system stability, capacity, and performance.
- Collaborate with software development and product teams and support the adoption of reliability best practices.
- Build and operate modern infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop emergency plans, document configurations and procedures, and provide on-call support when needed.
Requirements
- Completed IT-related studies, IT-related vocational training, or a comparable qualification.
- At least two years of experience in a comparable environment such as SRE and/or DevOps.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and TCP/IP networks.
- Experience with software-development process automation, such as GitHub Actions, Concourse, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Initial exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, AWS, Azure, or OCI.
- Analytical, independent, and structured working style with the ability to derive solutions independently.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
