Responsibilities
- Lead technical governance and architectural decisions for large-scale data center network infrastructure.
- Define delivery standards and ensure engineering quality across EVPN/VXLAN, routing, security, load balancing, Neutron routing, and high-security modules.
- Drive complex network infrastructure workstreams from design through operational handover.
- Represent network infrastructure delivery in cross-organizational and executive-level technical forums.
- Shape the operating model for network delivery, including tooling, automation, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Mentor DevOps and network engineering teams.
- Lead managed service provider engagements and hold providers accountable for quality and timelines.
- Conduct post-incident analysis and translate findings into architectural improvements and updated delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with sovereign cloud and security frameworks, including SecNumCloud requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on data center network engineering experience with deep expertise in the listed networking, security, routing, load-balancing, and high-security technologies.
- Experience serving as a technical authority, owning architectural decisions, defining standards, and independently driving outcomes across complex multi-team programs.
- Strong technical project management experience with Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and backlog-driven delivery at program scale.
- Experience leading third-party managed service provider engagements and managing performance and quality outcomes.
- Ability to represent technical positions credibly in cross-organizational and executive-level forums.
- Active use of AI-assisted tools in engineering and delivery practices.
- Knowledge of SecNumCloud or an equivalent sovereign cloud security framework for French cloud regions.
- Fluency in English and French.
