Responsibilities
- Participate actively in SBS web development projects.
- Define requirements and prepare design documents with account professionals.
- Develop, unit test, and system test code.
- Document code, processes, and development efforts.
- Deploy code to test environments.
- Follow SBS development standards, procedures, and methodology.
- Coordinate with SBS Marketing, Product Management, Account Managers, and Snap-on Corporate IT personnel.
- Complete tasks assigned by the SBS Technology Manager.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web development experience.
- Experience with web design.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Knowledge of Internet, intranet, and e-commerce systems and their content update processes.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, XML technologies, JavaScript, ASP, and HTML.
- In-depth experience with Visual Studio 2005 or later and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in teams with little direction.
