Responsibilities
- Design and set up test benches and equipment with an emphasis on automation.
- Develop and integrate automated test scripts and system configurations.
- Perform product debugging and troubleshooting using embedded test and measurement tools.
- Conduct verification and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
- Provide customer support for testing-related issues.
- Collaborate on product design and quoting processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant firmware-testing experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing automated test scripts and system configurations.
- At least 1 year of programming experience in embedded C/C++.
- Strong knowledge of test strategies and methodologies.
- Experience with I2C, UART, and SPI communication buses.
- Proficiency with JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Experience developing desktop automated test software.
- Scripting experience with Python or equivalent languages.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with SVN, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Contour, C# desktop GUI development, ARM Cortex-A and Cortex-M processors, Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Jenkins, Selenium, Robot Framework, and Wireshark.
- Exposure to mechanical and electronic design and development.
- Proactive and analytical approach to completing tasks and making recommendations.
