Responsibilities
- Develop core software for R-Car SoC accelerators, including execution control and scheduling for NPU and GPU performance.
- Design and develop software applications and create software demonstrations.
- Prepare and explain technical proposals for customers.
- Research market and technology trends and investigate new solutions.
- Conduct technical discussions and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders in Japan and overseas.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information engineering, or electronic engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of software development experience.
- Experience designing and implementing image-processing pipelines on embedded SoCs with hardware accelerators such as DSPs, NPUs, or GPUs; or experience in software design, development, verification, and validation from module to system level.
- Experience developing in multiprocess or multicore environments, with IPC and memory-resource management such as SMMU or IOMMU.
- Software development experience with Linux, Android, QNX, or FreeRTOS and their listed graphics, camera, display, codec, or multimedia technologies.
- Preferred experience with FFI in embedded systems, MIPI-CSI2, SerDes, image processing, display output, audio/video codecs, SYCL, ROS2, OpenVX, OpenCV, OpenGL ES, OpenCL, Vulkan, CUDA, and C++14/C++17.
- Preferred knowledge of ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and Agile/Scrum development processes.
