Base Salary
$123k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate cloud-native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructure.
- Configure and deploy optimized infrastructure within the OpenStack cloud ecosystem.
- Work with containers, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
- Monitor the health of deployed resources using Nagios or other enterprise management solutions.
- Document deployment procedures and troubleshoot complex automated processes.
- Implement clean, maintainable infrastructure as code using Terraform and industry best practices.
- Mentor and cross-train DevOps team members and assist with troubleshooting tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 8 years of experience, or a master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of DevOps or software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with infrastructure as code, Terraform, and Ansible.
- At least 5 years of experience with Linux tools and automation, shell scripting, and Python.
- At least 3 years of experience managing OpenStack.
- At least 5 years of experience with Docker containerization; Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience with continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- At least 5 years of experience creating, executing, and troubleshooting complex automated server configuration or code deployment processes.
- At least 5 years in a technical leadership role managing technical objectives and Jira metrics reporting.
- U.S. citizenship and a current or active Top Secret clearance are required.

- The position is initially based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then relocates to Dulles, Virginia after 1–2 years; onsite work in a SCIF is required and travel between locations is expected.
- Travel is approximately 10% of the time.
