Responsibilities
- Develop products and tools for the BEES Cloud Platform that improve developer experience and productivity.
- Design architecture, technical requirements, and solutions for platform capabilities.
- Build Internal Developer Portal features, including CLIs, automations, AI agents, and MCP servers.
- Create abstraction layers for capacity management, networking, microservice creation, and related platform concerns.
- Define and improve platform metrics and developer-facing observability.
- Contribute to platform security, compliance, and guardrails.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or software architecture.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, including consistency, failure handling, and observability.
- Experience with software, systems, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience with microservices architecture and patterns, including decomposition, APIs, and resilience.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and RBAC, including identity systems, access control, and role-based permissions.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, Go, and TypeScript.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Experience with container orchestration and workload scheduling at scale is desirable.
- Experience with service mesh concepts is desirable.
- Experience with GitOps and declarative Git-based deployment workflows is desirable.
