Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA activities across projects and releases.
- Define test strategy, test plans, and the overall testing approach.
- Ensure coverage across functional, integration, regression, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
- Coordinate testing across upstream and downstream systems.
- Validate deliverables and secure testing sign-off before production deployment.
- Monitor defects, risks, test progress, and release readiness.
- Collaborate with business, development, vendor, and governance stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor QA team members while managing testing timelines and deliverables.
- Support performance, failover, and disaster recovery testing.
- Lead vendor selection, solution evaluation, and implementation readiness planning.
Requirements
- 8 –12 years of experience leading QA teams in transformative banking or capital markets enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end testing across integrated systems.
- Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments.
- Experience with vendor selection and technology procurement.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC, along with functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
- Strong understanding of API, database, and backend testing.
- Familiarity with Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Experience with automation or performance testing tools is advantageous.
