Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance user-facing features for the Cricinfo website and app.
- Own features from design through delivery and collaborate with product stakeholders.
- Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.
- Build reusable code and cross-functional libraries for the in-house design system.
- Review code, uphold coding standards, and document solutions with documentation, DFDs, and code comments.
- Support and mentor software engineers through advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
- Optimize web experiences for devices with constrained memory and networks.
Requirements
- Strong experience with JavaScript.
- Deep knowledge of how browsers work.
- Deep understanding of design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with a frontend framework such as React or AngularJS.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with frontend build tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4–7 years of professional experience as a frontend developer with hands-on JavaScript experience.
- Open source contributions are preferred.
