Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated tests using modern development techniques.
- Apply automated tests across every application layer, both inside and outside the continuous delivery pipeline.
- Produce and analyze quality metrics that guide quality-engineering decisions.
- Triage test failures and maintain the health of the build pipeline.
- Collaborate with development, product, operations, and support teams to embed quality into work efforts.
- Participate in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.
- Support escaped-defect prevention, customer support escalations, deployments, migrations, security, and performance efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
- Two years of experience in code development.
- Programming experience in one or more of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Go.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, REST APIs, or Groovy.
- Comfort with REST API interfaces and OpenAPI specifications.
- Proficiency with source control management techniques, including Git and GitHub, branching, code review, and merging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership abilities, initiative, and interest in analytics and new technology.
