Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain automated tests using modern development techniques.
  • Apply automated tests across every application layer, both inside and outside the continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Produce and analyze quality metrics that guide quality-engineering decisions.
  • Triage test failures and maintain the health of the build pipeline.
  • Collaborate with development, product, operations, and support teams to embed quality into work efforts.
  • Participate in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.
  • Support escaped-defect prevention, customer support escalations, deployments, migrations, security, and performance efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
  • Two years of experience in code development.
  • Programming experience in one or more of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Go.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Python, REST APIs, or Groovy.
  • Comfort with REST API interfaces and OpenAPI specifications.
  • Proficiency with source control management techniques, including Git and GitHub, branching, code review, and merging.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership abilities, initiative, and interest in analytics and new technology.
