Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
  • Plan strategies, design solutions, and write technical specifications for Workday HCM solutions.
  • Develop, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy original or complex code.
  • Build Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and Orchestration.
  • Develop Workday Compensation and Benefits applications and exchange participant information with benefits carriers.
  • Create and modify Business Process Eligibility rules and steps.
  • Review requirements and user stories, perform development and testing, and address technical challenges.
  • Support Workday Security Reporting, Report Writer, and Advanced Reporting.
  • Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers in Agile/Scrum teams and ceremonies.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experience with Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and Orchestration.
  • Experience developing applications using Workday Compensation and Benefits.
  • Experience creating or modifying Business Process Eligibility rules and steps.
  • Strong techno-functional experience in Core HR, Compensation, or Benefits modules.
  • Experience with Workday Developer Agent or GitHub Copilot.
  • Understanding of Workday Security Reporting, Report Writer, and Advanced Reporting.
  • Understanding of usability and accessibility considerations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Scrum constructs and ceremonies.
