Responsibilities
- Own embedded product-security software architecture and translate cybersecurity goals, TARA results, and customer requirements into software requirements, interfaces, and reusable security patterns.
- Shape cybersecurity scope, assumptions, estimates, reuse plans, and technology-risk assessments during RFQ and concept phases.
- Derive software security architecture and interfaces from cybersecurity concepts and TARA results.
- Guide feature implementation and integration, approve deviations and technical decisions, and lead release readiness.
- Define secure boot, secure update, HSM and cryptographic services, secure communication, access control, diagnostics, and logging requirements and designs.
- Review third-party and platform solutions and resolve cross-layer security issues with systems, hardware, manufacturing, and validation teams.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability from cybersecurity goals through design, implementation, and verification evidence.
- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and coaching to cybersecurity developers.
- Support vulnerability analysis, incident response, secure-update maintenance, and lessons learned in production and operations.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10 to 16 years of experience with embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, Linux, QNX, RTOS, and vehicle networking.
- Working mastery of ISO/SAE 21434, TARA, cryptography, key management, and secure lifecycle engineering.
- Experience with architecture modeling, interface definition, debugging, and cybersecurity verification.
- Clear customer-facing communication and Automotive SPICE discipline.
- Exposure to platform security, PKI, penetration-test remediation, vulnerability management, and ISO 24089.
