Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated security guardrails and paved paths for secure-by-default development.
- Engage development teams during ideation and design to provide secure architecture and coding guidance.
- Build continuous automated security assessment capabilities that replace manual security reviews.
- Contribute code for security fixes and paved path solutions alongside developers.
- Develop scalable self-service security tools for identifying and remediating security risks.
- Design and implement preventive and detective security controls for continuous assurance.
- Collaborate on long-term security strategy and participate in periodic on-call rotations for security incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
