Responsibilities
- Build a new scalable banking platform using modern software development practices.
- Translate business and product challenges into technical solutions.
- Design and implement interfaces with major financial-industry players.
- Design and implement loosely coupled, scalable architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Write well-architected, testable, and documented code.
- Collaborate with software engineers, academics, product teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with Kotlin, Docker, Spring Boot, cloud infrastructure, and event-based asynchronous architectures.
- Experience designing and implementing loosely coupled, scalable architectures.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
- Experience with modern software development processes, continuous integration and deployment, and test automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear, concise communication skills.
- AWS, Terraform, Python, and GraphQL experience is a strong plus.
- Background in financial services is a strong plus.
