Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Edge AI and Computer Vision solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate NVIDIA Jetson, industrial PCs, GPUs, NPUs, cameras, sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Develop computer vision applications for detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, OCR, pose estimation, and anomaly detection.
- Optimize models for edge deployment using quantization, pruning, FP16/INT8 inference, and hardware acceleration.
- Build video and inference pipelines with OpenCV, GStreamer, NVIDIA TensorRT, NVIDIA DeepStream, Intel OpenVINO, and ONNX Runtime.
- Implement camera calibration, multi-camera synchronization, image preprocessing, sensor fusion, device monitoring, logging, OTA updates, and remote troubleshooting.
- Develop edge applications and edge-to-cloud integrations using Python, C/C++, Linux, Docker, MQTT, REST APIs, and IoT platforms.
- Support PoC, pilot, and production deployments at customer locations and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and model issues.
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and solution design discussions.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required, with at least 8 years of overall software engineering experience stated elsewhere in the posting.
- Strong hands-on experience in Edge Computing, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, industrial edge PCs, AI accelerator hardware, camera technologies, image/video processing, and camera integration.
- Strong understanding of computer vision algorithms, model architectures, and real-world conditions such as low light, glare, occlusion, motion blur, and vibration.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, Python, and preferably C/C++.
- Experience optimizing models for latency, FPS, memory, power, and compute constraints, plus experience with Linux, Docker, and embedded/edge software environments.
- Understanding of networking, IoT protocols, edge-to-cloud communication, MLOps, model versioning, and deployment lifecycles.
- Experience taking at least one Computer Vision solution from PoC through pilot or production deployment.
- Experience with distributed deployments involving multiple cameras and edge devices is preferred; industrial, manufacturing, transportation, automotive, retail, robotics, or smart infrastructure experience is advantageous.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
