Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C++ and Rust.
- Write software that interacts with microcontrollers.
- Design and develop secure low-level software for satellite systems.
- Design, integrate, and improve embedded software, including device drivers and Linux kernel modules.
- Port existing software to new embedded systems and perform other low-level programming activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
- Participate in software development from requirements through implementation, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship software design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee due to export control requirements.
