Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, implement, test, document, and support SAP applications and components.
- Design ABAP query reports and dialog programs and develop modern architectural solutions.
- Provide architecture, solution, implementation, requirements, feasibility, and application-management consulting.
- Investigate and resolve SAP software issues while mapping customer business requirements and processes.
- Act as a direct customer contact, present proposed solutions, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Analyze customer customization demands and propose appropriate solutions and realizations.
- Define system strategies, requirements, prototypes, support procedures, and practical business solutions.
- Provide project-status feedback, document system changes, and ensure new components remain readable and maintainable.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues and support new-business or cross-module transitions.
- Apply knowledge of master data management and its impact on business processes and policy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an ABAP developer focused on SAP ERP.
- Completed studies in business administration or business informatics, or comparable training.
- Integrative systems understanding and specific knowledge of SAP ERP and S/4HANA process development.
- Experience in SAP application management or S/4HANA brownfield or greenfield implementation projects.
- English at B2 level and German at C1 level, or communicative German with willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel and undertake three two-week stays abroad monthly over a six-month period.
- Willingness to learn German legal requirements and framework conditions.
- Preferred: ITIL and ServiceNow experience, SAP BI/BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Lumira, SAP Business Technology Platform, interface development, and Fiori/UI5 experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, Jira, and Confluence, plus public-sector or healthcare industry knowledge.
