Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and improve massively scalable distributed cryptography and identity management systems.
- Write code, triage operational issues, and participate in end-to-end service ownership.
- Work with large AWS customers to address technical needs across a suite of services.
- Investigate complex technical issues and improve customer experience.
- Lead the design and architecture of new and existing systems for reliability and scalability.
- Mentor engineers and contribute as a technical lead or engineering team leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; AWS will sponsor commensurate agency clearances as applicable.
